Marked "#3" on the handle.also includes inch measurements for surgeon convenience. May be straight, or angled at 45 degrees
Cautions
Always load and unload scalpel blades using a needle holder - never your fingers! Unload blade down & away from yourself.
Surgical Tech Info
Typically used for #10 or #15 scalpel blades. Typically used for initial skin incision. Be sure to have this loaded before the start of the procedure.
Sterile Processing Info
Make sure the blade has been removed from the handle before cleaning. If a blade is sent to decon, notify a supervisor immediately.
